While eating less sodium is important, it is also important to make sure you drinking enough water and staying hydrated. Water flushes toxins and waste out of our bodies, while also keeping all of the body’s systems and organs supported and operating better, reducing stress on them. This is how drinking enough water can actually help you lose weight. Again, talk with your doctor about what the right amount of water is for you to ensure hydration and proper electrolyte balance.
Refine Your Diet
Whether a beach destination is in your near or distant future, the best way to get yourself ready is to refine your diet. While your doctor will be able to tell you what will best meet your health needs, for many, focusing on a balance of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, healthy fats and lean meats will help get you feeling energized and confident.
